Punjab Govt. elect the new C.M and The Supreme Court issued
notice to Advocate General Punjab
on the situation arising in the Punjab Assembly.
The Supreme Court has ordered today’s
hearing on the issue of the no-confidence vote
and directed that the process of appointment
of a new Chief Minister of Punjab be
carried out in a constitutional and peaceful manner.
According to the order of the Supreme Court, the Registrar’s Office
sent a note of the incidents reported in the media on
the no-confidence motion.
Firstly According to reports, the Deputy Speaker rejected the
in light of Article 5 an order and the order issued by the Chief Justice
so he said that several judges of the Supreme Court
met me today and after their consultation,
it is deciding to take action
under Article 184-3 of the Constitution.
After that according to the order, a bench headed by Chief Justice Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan
and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar was made up and offered was given
the number of Self Notice No. 1, 2022.
secondly, the order said that
the Attorney General of Pakistan, President of the
Supreme Court Bar and lawyers of various political parties
appeared in today’s hearing. The written order states
that a notice has handed to the Attorney General regarding
the constitutional status
of the move of the Deputy Speaker
of the National Assembly.
According to the order, the court will look into whether
the Deputy Speaker’s move is protected under Article 69.
moreover, the main concern of the court is to maintain law and order in the country.
In the National Assembly, all political parties and political forces are
ordered to maintain law and order.

should establish peace and maintain public order
while any order issued by the President, the Prime Minister will be subject to

and Defense to submit a report on steps taken to maintain
law and order in the country.
so the Supreme Court issued notice to Advocate General Punjab on
the situation arising in the Punjab Assembly and that is to say directed that the
appointment of the new Chief Minister of Punjab carried out in
a constitutional and peaceful manner.
however, the Supreme Court order said that
law enforcement agencies should strictly abide by
the constitution and law to maintain law and order in Punjab.
The apex court said that the petitions of PPP and SC bar should be fixed
for hearing with suo motu notice while the Supreme Court bar
and Pakistan bar should assist
the apex court on suo motu notice.

before a larger bench at one o’clock tomorrow
so It may be a callback that the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly
Dost Muhammad Mazari had justified the worst
commotion in the assembly session and adjourned the session till April 6.
The meeting of the Punjab Assembly lasted only 6 minutes
due to which neither voting for the election of
the new Chief Minister could take place today
nor a no-confidence action could be moved to the Punjab Assembly against the Speaker.
